These are standalone Pension Schemes set up by each employer for the management of employees Tier-2 pension under the 3-Tier Contributory Scheme. They are Defined Contribution Plans and are managed by either an in-house Board of Trustees or the employer will outsource the Trustee responsibilities to Republic Trust, in addition to performing the administration duties of the Scheme.

Key Features of the Schemes include:

• Contribution rate –  (1) 5 % of gross basic salary.
                                       (2) 18.5% of gross basic salary if member is aged above 45 years old and                                                            not already registered with SSNIT.
